How to take your measurements
On Epok Label, all measurements are taken in cm, directly on the garment laid flat (not around the body). You should therefore divide by two the measurements you would take on yourself with a tape measure for chest and waist circumference.
Tops (t-shirts, shirts, sweaters)
Lay flat, garment smoothed, closed.
-
Chest: armpit to armpit, then x2 for the circumference.
-
Waist: at the narrowest part of the bust, from one side to the other, then x2.
-
Total length: from the top of the shoulder (near the collar) to the bottom of the garment.
-
Sleeve length: from the shoulder seam to the bottom of the sleeve.
Example measurements:
Chest flat 50 cm (i.e. 100 cm circumference)
Pants / jeans
Lay flat, well-aligned, closed.
-
Waist: from one edge of the waistband to the other, then x2.
-
Inseam: from the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg.
-
Total length: from the top of the waistband to the bottom of the leg.
Example:
Waist flat 37 cm (i.e. 74 cm) – Inseam 76 cm.
Skirts / dresses
-
Waist: from one side to the other at the narrowest point, then x2.
-
Chest (dresses): armpit to armpit, then x2.
-
Total length: from the top (waistband or shoulder) to the bottom.
